While staying at our River Lodge you have the option of doing your own cooking as all cabins are equipped with ovens, stoves, microwaves  and central BBQ's. Arrangements can be easily made for meal packages also in the K/O dining room  on the lake.  Weekly Dinner packages on the lake with and awesome River Fish Fry BBQ is 300.00 US per person for the Week in 2009  Just tell us what you would like and we'll be happy to design a package that best suits your group or family. 

There are also local grocery stores & butcher shops just 5 and 7 miles away in the towns of Deep and Chalk River.

Our K/O Dining room on the lake has large picture windows allowing an intoxicating panoramic view of the lake along with some spectacular Canadian sunsets.   The interior is designed in knotty pine and stone complimented by by Terry Carlin Sr.'s wildlife collection and trophy fish mounts.

The dining room is open to the Public as well as our In House guests from 5:00pm to 9:00pm each evening with this full choice menu available always.

Special diets are not a problem, just let us know and we'll be happy to set up a special menu for your needs.

The Place on the lake is open each evening as well as a couple local restaurants in the area. Groceries and basic commodities can be picked up in the town of Deep River 5 miles away.  We provide Gas BBQ's that can be used at the Mountain River Lodge anytime.
